Best "Hustle" Award

the judging Criteria

This category looks at those food and beverage tourism professionals and businesses who have been doing whatever it take to survive. Last year we awarded the ‘Most Innovative Pivot’ but this year we are looking at more than pivoting. We will take a holistic approach to look at the quality and quantity of tasks you’ve completed to keep your business and/or brand strong over the course of the pandemic. We will look at things you did, how you used the time to benefit your business, and the successes you have had.

Who Can Enter?

Food/beverage tour operators, cooking classes, travel agencies, wine, beer and spirits businesses, food or beverage retail, restaurants, bars, cafes, chefs, food or beverage travel writers and journalists, food or beverage events, and any other business owner who is involved in the food and beverage tourism industry.

Complete this initial application form and pay the required application fee. If you need to refer to the main Awards page or categories while you complete this form, you may do so here.

Once your initial form here and your payment are complete, you will receive by email a copy of your payment receipt, as well instructions how to access the application form that is unique to your selected awards category. You can apply for multiple awards categories, but each application should be started separately on this same page. If you do not see this email, please be sure to check your spam folder.

No taxes or VAT are payable, since we manage the Awards and bill out of our US office. Besides the one application fee, there are no additional fees of any kind. Have questions? Access the FoodTrekking Awards FAQ, write us at help(at)worldfoodtravel(dot)org or contact us here. We’re happy to help.

Best of luck!
