Betina Mariante Cardoso, M.D and writer from South Brazil. Writes about food and travel since 2007, firstly in creative writing classes and in her on blog afterwards, “Serendipity in Cucina” (2012-2019). Presented a study about food memories, using examples extracted from catalan writer Josep Pla’s book “El que hem manjat” in a Literature & Gastronomy Congress in Santiago de Compostela (2016). Participated as student in a memoir & personal essays workshop in Chinon, France, about food and wine writing, in 2018. MSc in Literature on the field of Food and Literature. Currently, studies food and wine histories from her region, Rio Grande do Sul, for a project of presenting it in workshops with the owners or food and wine producers to tourists. Food & Wine travels for harvesting peoples’ histories.
