Julián Bermúdez

Julián Bermúdez, is a consultant and develops strategies in social sustainability solutions from the cities, creating safe scenarios and promoting the decarbonization of food systems before 2050, he works with urban gardens and composting communities; UNSA 2020 alumni and speaker, early 2020 designed for the CETT-UB a curriculum for a new master’s degree in Sustainable Gastronomy, collaborated with different projects designing strategies and co-authored proposals; In 2019 received a mention of honor from the Catalonia Generalitat for the development of research of the status of the gastronomy in the region, and attended FAO headquarters in Rome for training course Agrobiodiversity in a Changing Climate and there presented some of the outcomes of the projects developed with fellow institutions. Julian is a strategic innovator in food systems, with a career as a gastronome, intrapreneur in food sustainability and experienced environmental instructor, he has worked in Colombia, in food and sustainability projects and social gastronomy, with a focus on communities and their relationship within their territory to promote and preserve biodiversity and appropriate uses of the food commons.
