Kathiana LeJeune is an Author, Gastrodiplomatic Thought Leader, and Culinary Enthusiast who is enthralled by the ways food can serve as a means of unity across cultural differences. Kathiana earned her master’s degree in Political Management at George Washington University. She currently works as a Business Operations Coordinator and DEI Team member at National Geographic.
Kathiana is passionate about women’s rights, human rights, girls/women’s access to global higher education, and peace-building policy. She was inspired to write her book The Power of the Palate because she realized how food drives our relationships, connections, and society. When not speaking on her book, you can find her hosting a dinner or brunch to bring people together through a mutual love of delicious foods.
All in all, Kathiana loves to share the company of friends over a good home-cooked meal.
