Melissa (or just “Mel”) recently graduated from the Universidade de Brasília with a Bachelor in Tourism. There she learned that personal and professional improvement come from the exchange of experiences between different cultures and areas of expertise. She fell in love with Food Tourism and has been researching the subject for four years now in order to try and preserve the immense Latin American culinary heritage. Mel values teamwork, diversity, and innovation both in processes and products. She’s passionate about the multidisciplinarity of Tourism and its potential for sociocultural and economic development.
