Beginning with Episode 69, the podcast adopted the name Taste of Place, a term first introduced by the World Food Travel Association in 2006. The name reflects a clearer and more meaningful expression of the industry’s focus on culinary culture and heritage. Around the same time, the podcast refined its guest profile to spotlight individuals actively working to preserve and advance these traditions, which are central motivations for food-loving travelers.
Starting with Episode 72, the podcast expanded to include a video edition published on YouTube, alongside the audio version available through all major podcast platforms.
