ABOUT THE PODCAST
Tune in to the "Taste of Place" podcast every month, for stories from the keepers of culinary culture and heritage, to inspire you on your professional path or your next travel adventure.
Join us as we meet and learn from inspiring leaders in our field. Whether you are a seasoned professional, an entrepreneur, or a consumer with an interest in culinary culture and heritage, our podcast series will inspire everyone. Each episode is hosted by the World Food Travel Association's Executive Director Erik Wolf.
Starting with episode 69, we made a few changes to our podcast, starting with the name. The new name "Taste of Place" is a term we coined as early as 2006. It is more concise and meaningful to our industry than the previous podcast name. We also shifted our guest profile to feature those working to preserve culinary culture and heritage, which are the primary reasons why food lovers travel. Then starting with episode 72, we began publishing a video version of the podcast on YouTube as well as the audio version, which is available through all major podcast services.
