LONDON, UK, October 28, 2019 — Today the World Food Travel Association (WFTA) announced that the Nepal Tourism Board has signed a partnership agreement with the Association. Among other things, the partnership includes the showcasing of Nepal’s flavourful and healthy, yet still largely unknown, cuisine at the Association’s FoodTreX London | Food Travel Innovation Summit coming up next Sunday, November 3.
Before even traveling to Nepal, FoodTreX delegates will enjoy an authentic taste of Nepal’s gastronomy and tangible proof of Nepal as an emerging food tourism destination. The luncheon showcase gives the stage to Nepalese delicacies such as phando (fresh corn soup), chukauni (spicy potato yogurt salad), momos (Nepalese dumplings), daal, and sikarni (a yogurt, saffron and pistachio dessert).
